Starting in 2024, Formula 1 races will be exclusively broadcasted on Nova Sport in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The announcement was made by TV Nova, which has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for both markets.

Dušan Mendel, Head of Sports at TV Nova, stated that the acquisition underlines the network's commitment to deliver high-quality sports experiences to their audience. The addition of Formula 1 to their portfolio complements existing partnerships with UEFA Champions League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and the NHL.

Previously, AMC Networks International held the broadcasting rights for Formula 1. Audiences could watch the races on Sport1 and Sport2 channels. It's worth noting that Nova Sport had previously aired Formula 1 races between 2006 and 2014.
