Warner Bros. Discovery will launch an all-new Warner TV channel in the Czech Republic on April 2, 2024. The channel will be broadcast via DVB-T2 terrestrial television and will offer viewers a rich video library of popular movies, series, and other content from this media giant's production.

"Starting in April, Czech viewers will be able to enjoy a wide range of content on Warner TV, including movies and series. We are bringing a vast library of content to the channel, from classic films to popular series," said Václav Paleček, Head of Distribution and Business Development for Warner Bros. Discovery in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The channel will broadcast 24/7, with at least 40% of its programming consisting of series and a minimum 15% share of movies. The license also allows for documentary films, reality shows, and entertainment content. Sports broadcasts and live programming may be added in the future. Most shows will be dubbed in Czech, while some may have Slovak subtitles.

Warner TV will air older, beloved classics from the studio's extensive video library rather than brand new releases. The company utilizes a similar programming approach for the Polish and Italian versions.

The Czech Republic will become the second market after Italy to offer free-to-air Warner TV broadcasting. Overall, Warner TV will be available in 11 countries with the launch in the Czech Republic.
