Starting from April 21, the pay-TV channel Canal+ Sport will broadcast the top French rugby competition, Top 14. This addition expands the channel's sports offerings, which already include the English Premier League, the WTA women's tennis tour, and the Premier Padel Tour.

Canal+ Sport will broadcast the best match of each round from the elite French rugby championship, Top 14, until the end of the regular season. These matches are played on Sundays at 9:05 PM. The channel will also offer all the matches of the knockout stage, as well as the Top 14 magazine show, which covers the key moments of the last round played.

The long-term regular season ends on June 9, followed by a three-round playoff, culminating in the grand final between the two best teams on Friday, June 28.

The first match will start on Canal+ Sport on Sunday, April 21 at 9:05 PM, featuring Union Bordeaux-Bègles against ASM Clermont. Well-known names from the Czech rugby scene, Martin Kafka and Marek Švíř, will be at the microphone. French journalist living in the Czech Republic, Guillaume Narguet, will also enrich the broadcast with his insights.

The top French rugby competition has been played since 1892. Toulouse, the current defending champion, has lifted the winning trophy, the Brennus Shield, the most times. French internationals Dupont, Ntamack, and Ramos currently shine in their jersey. The league also features representatives from England, Wales, and South Africa.
